Cancer touches everyone... 1 in 3 people will get cancer in our lifetime. 

For me, that list continues to get longer and longer, year after year. It started with my Great Aunt Eleanor who has been a cancer survivor for over 50 years. Then, it was my cousin's husband, John, who we lost in 2015. Most recently, my Uncle Dave, who battled lung cancer. It is friends and co-workers, acquaintances and strangers... we all know someone who has been touched by cancer. Cancer is a disease that connects each and every one of us.

Though we are not all scientists and researchers working every day to find a cure, we all have the ability to make a difference. We do this by volunteering our time, sharing our stories, and making donations. We put our faith into the hands of some of the best researchers in the world knowing that their passion to find a cure matches ours. We invest our dollars so that these researchers can advance their projects to one day find a cure. We may not all be researchers, but we can all make an IMPACT because TOGETHER we will find a cure. One day we will live in a world without cancer, I believe it!
